Whisker and Quill is the brain child of myself and Miri Stone. I love to design. As an indie author, money is always tight. We have to think about and budget every aspect of our books. Out of necessity when I started publishing, I made all of my own covers.  Then I started making them for my friends for fun. And it grew. I made covers, I made graphics; I learned that designing covers and the creative process around it was soothing. So I just kept making more, each one I show to Miri, who is the master of the tweak. She can see a designs potential and give it that little nudge to make it sing. And thus Whisker & Quill was born.

Once you have claimed and paid for a cover it will be removed from this site. Each cover will only ever be sold once. If you see a cover that you like that has been removed, please contact me about the possibility of a cover in the same style. While this is not always possible, I am always willing to work with you to try and find a style and cover that is right for you and your book.

While I am not selling custom covers at this time, I will take requests on a case by case basis, and will consider each potential project that comes to me. If I do take a specific project, price will be discussed with each author personally.

In addition, if you love a cover and can’t afford to pay the prices listed, please contact me anyway. I strive to make being an indie author attainable for everyone, and that includes covers. I am often willing to trade goods and services.
